We seek to share God’s unconditional love of all people regardless of age, gender, marital or family status, sexual orientation, ability or wealth.

Bible Teaching

At Christ Church Cathedral, because we believe that the Bible is God’s Word written, we systematically study the Bible.

This term our three primary Bible teaching ministries - church Bible talks, growth groups, and our kids ministry - are working through a series the in Apostle John’s first letter (1 John) titled BELOVE(d). If you’re interested in learning more about this, don’t hesitate to reach out via our Connect with us.

Join us on Sunday

We know it can be hard visiting somewhere new.

At Church on Sundays we will sing, hear a talk from a part of the Bible, and there is something especially for the kids.

You can wear what you like, stay for as long or as little as you want, and can feel free to simply sit back and see what we are on about.

Kids and Youth

Sundays @ 9am

Our Kids and Youth programs are run during our 9am Sunday Service.

Children and youth are an important part of our life together at the Cathedral and we work hard to make sure they are made to feel welcome in all that we do.

Our programs focus on God’s love for us in Jesus and teaching our young people to have confidence to read the Bible for themselves.

All our Children’s Ministry assistants are required to meet safe ministry screening, including having a valid ochre card in line with NT Government legislation and Diocesan Policy.

Care ministry

We believe that all people are created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26) and worthy of dignity and respect.

Each week our church volunteers work hard to care for people in need: along with providing food and showers through the week, we make sandwiches to hand out to over 100 people every weekend.

Growth Groups

Growth groups are an integral part of our church life. We meet together weekly in small groups to read to share life, help eachother to read the Bible and pray for the things that are on our minds and hearts.

We are a BCA supported Church

Our assistant minister Matt and wife Emily field workers with the Bush Church Aid Society. Our partnership with BCA aims to train, equip and send the next generation of leaders to less resourced, less reached parts of Australia.
